We’re living in a period of rapid change, both in terms of the policy and funding context and the disruptive influence of technology and new service models. Some of these changes present a massive opportunity for strengthening the role that sustainable transport plays and enhancing the offer. But if not carefully managed, these changes could undermine sustainable transport and exacerbate problems that we transport planners have been grappling with over the years.
